As a Baker at Bruegger’s, you’ll provide the best product possible to our guests!
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for team members and guests by:
- Using correct procedures to clean the bakery, bake and slice bagels, and operate bakery equipment
- Prevent accidents before they happy by identifying and correction safety hazards
- Prepare and produce enough quality product to ensure availability for each shift
- Provide excellent guest service that creates the raving fan
- Maintain all safety policies and procedures
- Leads by example and shares knowledge with new and existing team members
- Performs counter duties when needed
- Support and follow all marketing programs
- Adjust bake levels to account for promotional periods
- Help ensure the financial budget is met in terms of baking cost of goods

Requirements:
- Successfully complete Bruegger’s Baker Training and Certification Program
- Ability to be on your feet for long period of time
- Required bending and lifting
- Comfort working with ovens
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, co-workers and management
- Prior experience working in a kitchen is preferred but not required
