As an Area Manager, you’ll take on leadership responsibilities, including aspects of the bakery, commitment to sales and determination to serve in a specific market.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the success of your bakeries and bakery team members.
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and maintaining a quality staff
- Performance evaluations, administer wage guidelines and disciplinary actions
- Manage administrative paperwork and personnel records
- Supervisory role for General Managers in your area
- Provide a safe and clean environment for members and guests
- Create a safe, legal and profitable operation in accordance with all Bruegger’s standards of operations
- Establish one training bakery in assigned area
- Fosters positive working environments and effective communication
- Supports General Managers in achieving bakery objectives
- Ensure all promotional materials is current and local store marketing plans are carried out in accordance with corporate specifications

General Requirements
- Excellent communication, oral and written skills
- Experience in a management/supervisory role and employee relations
- Ability to stand for period of time and bending and lifting will be required
- Must have exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Driven, motivated and dedicated to assigned area
- Some travel required
- Successfully complete Bruegger’s training certifications
